Community Outreach

Every year, the Lancaster - Harrisburg chapter participates in several community outreach events and programs. Read on for more information.



The Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair (CASEF) is central Pennsylvania's regional program affiliated with the International Science and Engineering Fair. Each year, 200 to 400 students in grades seven through twelve exhibit projects in engineering, chemisty, physics, behavioral sciences, environmental science, and biology. IIE gave out four awards in March, 2013 to exhibitors with industrial engineering themed projects:
